Perhaps more than any other attorney anywhere in the state of Washington, Jonathan Neill can say his passion for law and justice is borne out of literally more than 100 years of family tradition. Jon is a fourth generation attorney in the Neill family. His grandfather Marshall Neill was a very respected Washington State Supreme Court Justice and federal court judge in Spokane.
Jon Neill was born in Pullman, Washington, where his father Howard, the 3rd generation Neill lawyer, continues to practice as well. Jon devotes his practice to all varieties of civil litigation with emphasis on medical negligence and catastrophic/fatal motor vehicle collisions. In 2007 and again in 2010, Jon was named a Washington Super Lawyers Rising Star by Washington Law and Politics magazine.
Jon attended Gonzaga University on a track scholarship and was a 3-time All West Coast Conference runner for the Zags during his college career. Jon set 5 school records on the track while at Gonzaga and presently owns the school record for the half mile. Jon graduated from Gonzaga University magna cum laude with a double major in Finance and Economics. He received his law degree from the University of Oregon.
Jon served as President of the Lilac Bloomsday Association from 2006 – 2008, serving on the Bloomsday board since 2002. As Elite Athlete Coordinator for Bloomsday, Jon oversees the elite field division, including the travel and appearances of professional athletes from around the world.
Jon is married and the proud Dad of three young boys. He coaches his two oldest boys’ soccer and baseball teams. In his free time, Jon enjoys fly fishing, running, spending time with his young family, barbequing and giving tours of the Patsy Clark Mansion.
